Painting, design and printing have been my passion since growing up in northern California. Universities I have studied with include; The Otis Art Institute, La Reparata Art Institute in Florence, Italy, the University of Guadalajara and the Art Institute of San Francisco. I have a BA in Art form San Francisco State University and an MA in Art fron Sacrament State University.
My silk paintings, watercolors and prints have been in many art shows-juried and non-juried, galleries and museums on both coasts. |

Victoria Silks is a color consultant, silk painter and teacher with over 30 years experience. She received her B. A. in art education, with a minor in dance from the University of Denver
in 1967.
She ran her own dance studio in Taos ,NM until 1976 when she formed her company, Victoria Silks Design Studio. Her work with color and fabric has been nationally recognized in Vogue and Harper's Bazaar magazines and she has given talks on color to numerous groups and national conferences.
Currently, Victoria is consulting and teaching at her studio in Santa Fe, NM. She works both nationally and internationally and welcomes all students and inquiries into her work. |
